NEW CONSTRUCTION - PHASED INSPECTIONS

Pre – Pour Foundation Inspection

This inspection is completed before the concrete of the slab is poured on a new construction home. The inspector will make sure that all of the form boards, rebar, post tension cables, plumbing, and poly liner have been correctly installed in accordance with the building plan. Them form boards for the foundation will be measured proper leveling and diagramed in the report.

 

 


Pre – Drywall Inspection

The pre-drywall inspection is completed before the insulation and drywall are installed on a new construction home. The inspector will make sure all structural, electrical, and plumbing components meet code and are being installed with adequate building practice.  This inspection will list any deficiencies that need to be addressed before construction proceeds.

 

 


Final Inspection

The final inspection phase will occur before the final walk-through with the builder on new home. The inspector will test and evaluate all components inside and outside the completed home. This inspection consists of all the structural systems, electrical systems, heating / ventilation / air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, appliances, and optional systems.
